Overview
The Support Services Assistant is responsible for overseeing support services including administration, HR, logistics, finance, and procurement, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Tasks Summary
- Provide general administrative and HR support.
- Maintain personnel and administrative records.
- Facilitate communication.
- Manage daily base administration.
- Liaise with service providers.
- Ensure administrative and legal documentation is accurate.
- Maintain office equipment.
- Support training and capacity building.
- Provide logistical support.
- Support fleet management activities.
- Ensure logistics procedures are followed.
- Review and maintain inventory management systems.
- Support asset register maintenance.
- Manage office supplies.
- Support filing and documentation of logistics transactions.
- Provide basic finance support.
- Assist in maintaining financial transaction records.
- Support finance department with documentation and filing.
- Support procurement activities.
- Track procurement requests.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
- Provide timely support to DRC programs.
Experience Requirements
- Substantial 2 years of work experience in the management of support services within an international and national non-governmental organization working in the areas of emergency, camp management and the development sector, particularly with displaced communities / refugees.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in multi-cultural work settings.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic.
Qualification Requirements
University degree in economics, Business Administration, or other degree deemed similar
