Overview

Contribute to the implementation of the Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) programme by supporting business surveys, trade obstacle alert mechanisms, and related training activities.

Tasks Summary

• Facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of NTM projects.
• Carry out basic research on programmes, operations, and other activities.
• Provide substantive support for policy coordination and evaluation functions.
• Assist in performing consulting assignments and facilitating workshops.
• Participate in business survey initiatives, assist with data collection tools, and analyze responses.
• Contribute to the preparation of various written outputs.
• Provide administrative and substantive support to meetings and conferences.
• Undertake capacity building activities and participate in training workshops.
• Participate in field missions for data collection and support.
• Coordinate activities related to budget funding and prepare related documents.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement for NTM projects.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in project/programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience in trade in services and TRTA is desirable. Experience in trade in Environmental / Climate related goods and services is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first level degree in the above subjects of related field may be accepted with an additional two years of relevant work experience.

Languages Required: English is required. Either Spanish or French is required.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: Fixed-term appointment for an initial period of one (1) year, which may be extended up to four years, subject to funding.
