Overview

Support the day-to-day management of social media accounts, website updates, newsletter drafting, and design of communication materials for the Cool Coalition.

Tasks Summary

• Support social media management including drafting, scheduling, publishing posts, and monitoring analytics.
• Support regular updates of the Cool Coalition website and coordinate with service providers.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting newsletters and email updates.
• Support the design and layout of communication materials and PowerPoint slide decks.
• Assist with preparation and dissemination of communication emails, monitor inbox, and maintain contact lists.

Qualification Requirements

• Completed or ongoing studies for degree in communications, media, marketing, design or related field.
• Computer literate in standard software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with website content management systems (preferably Drupal).
• Experience with email marketing/newsletter tools.
• Basic graphic design skills using tools, such as the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Comfortable using collaboration and communication tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and digital performance tracking tools.
• Be enrolled in a graduate school programme, or the final academic year of a first university degree programme, or have graduated with a university degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of one of the following UN language is an advantage (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality: Paris Duty Station

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
