Consultant to Update Asian Highway Routes 3 & 4 Handbook – China

Overview

Consultancy to update the country chapter for China in the Handbook on Cross-Border Transport and Ancillary Facilities along the Asian Highway Network Routes 3 and 4.

Tasks Summary

• Collect, verify, and update information on cross-border transport requirements, regulations, and procedures, as well as national data on transport infrastructure and operationalization of selected corridors for the China country chapter.
• Consolidate data on transportation authorities, regulations on weights and dimensions, carriage of dangerous goods, driving time, satellite tracking, digital operations, sustainable transport infrastructure, emergency numbers, road maintenance, seasonal restrictions, dangerous sections, payment options, road usage fees, and AH3 and AH4 route information.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify collected data.
• Draft the country chapter of the handbook.

Experience Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in road transport, border crossing, and transit issues.
• Experience working with government agencies, transport-related stakeholders, and international organizations.

Qualification Requirements

Advanced degree.
