Overview
Consultancy services are needed to update the handbook on regulatory, policy, and infrastructure developments along the segments of AH3 and AH4 routes covered by the Agreement for Mongolia.
Tasks Summary
- Collect, verify, and update information on cross-border transport requirements, regulations, and procedures, as well as national data on transport infrastructure and the operationalization of selected corridors.
- Update the country chapter for Mongolia covering transportation authorities, regulations on weights and dimensions, carriage of dangerous goods, driving time and rest periods, satellite tracking systems, digital operation practices, sustainable road transport infrastructure, emergency numbers, road maintenance, seasonal restrictions, dangerous sections, payment options, road usage fees, and AH3 and AH4 route information.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to verify collected data.
- Write the country chapter of the handbook.
Experience Requirements
At least 7 years of professional experience and excellent in-depth, practical knowledge of road transport, border crossing and transit issues. Experience working with government agencies, transport-related stakeholders, and international organizations.
