Retreat Facilitator / Trainer

Overview

The consultant will develop and finalize the methodology and agenda for a hybrid retreat, ensuring interactive and participatory engagement to achieve intended objectives and results.

Tasks Summary

• Review and analyze priorities and challenges.
• Design retreat methodologies based on objectives and agenda.
• Work with the Retreat Committee to align sessions with objectives.
• Facilitate and moderate retreat sessions focusing on visibility, resilience, and team building.
• Ensure interactivity and participation of in-person and online attendees.
• Prepare a report with key outcomes, recommendations, and action points.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering interactive workshops, teambuilding activities, and staff retreats.
• Working experience in a multicultural environment including the United Nations is highly desirable.
• Experience working with professional teams in the Asia Pacific region is desirable.
• Experience in programme management and experience working with senior management teams are highly desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• An advanced degree in social science, business, communication and equivalent academic qualifications, and/or equivalent work experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 additional years of work experience.
• Training and/or facilitation certifications are desirable by UN System Staff College or other.
