Overview
This internship provides assistance to the Multilateral Fund Secretariat with research, data analysis, and support for meetings and website content.
Tasks Summary
- - Research, compile, analyse, summarize and present relevant data and information for the preparation of documents.
- - Collect, compile and analyse data and information related to the Montreal Protocol and Kigali Amendment.
- - Prepare lists, tables and charts for review of project submissions.
- - Assist with extraction, analysis and preparation of datasets for migration to the Knowledge Management System (KMS).
- - Assist the KMS team with testing solutions and features, and data entry.
- - Assist with coordination of activities and content creation for the Multilateral Fund website.
- - Assist with development of country profiles and input into the KMS.
- - Provide support in the organisation and holding of meetings and events.
- - Assist with any other tasks, as required.
Experience Requirements
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualification Requirements
- Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or have graduated with a university degree.
- Preferred area of study: International relations, environmental science, sustainable development, communications, administration or related fields.
- Proficiency in computer skills (good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Excel), use of databases, population of websites, web-based platforms and relevant software.
