Overview
Individual contractor to support the implementation of the Climate Resilient Inclusive Social Protection (CRISP) project by conducting research, data analysis, and facilitating consultations.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct literature and background research for national and regional knowledge products.
- Collect case studies on social protection and climate change and develop a documentation template.
- Support data analysis, including analysis of climate change indicators and household data sets.
- Prepare household data sets for analysis and conduct quantitative analysis.
- Support and facilitate review of modelling and simulation tools.
- Support communication of project achievements and deliverables.
- Facilitate national and regional consultations and workshops.
- Provide ad hoc support for project implementation.
Experience Requirements
- Previous research experience, especially with international organizations, is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in research, data analysis and coordination are required.
- Experience working in international organisations is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, social development, social administration or labour studies.
- Proficiency with statistical software programmes such as Stata or R for data analysis is required.
