Supports laboratory diagnostic activities related to vector-borne diseases and contributes to enhancing laboratory diagnostic capacity, quality assurance, biosafety, and technical reporting.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in a microbiology, molecular biology, or public health laboratory or in closely related laboratory environments. Demonstrated experience in molecular diagnostic techniques (e.g., PCR, RT-PCR). Experience handling infectious samples under biosafety protocols. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated experience in public health laboratories and/or university-based research laboratories, including application of molecular diagnostic techniques and adherence to laboratory quality standards, is an asset. Previous experience with Ministry of Health laboratories or international organizations is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field (such as Biology, and Genetics, Biotechnology).
