HPV Vaccine Introduction Junior Coordinator

Overview

Provide programmatic, administrative, and coordination support for the introduction of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine into the national immunization program.

Tasks Summary
  • Support the preparation, consultants work and follow-up of project workplans, timelines, and activity trackers
  • Assist in organizing meetings, trainings, and coordination activities, including agendas, participant lists, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Support coordination with stakeholders (MOPH departments, WHO, UNICEF, partners) to track progress on agreed actions and deliverables
  • Support compilation of relevant data needed for reporting, writing progress reports, summaries, and documentation related to HPV vaccine introduction activities
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation (meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, and deliverables)
  • Support training implementation plan, including target groups, training schedule, locations, and modalities
  • Facilitation of training sessions for medical doctors, nurses and midwives using approved training materials and SOPs
  • Training report documenting number of sessions delivered, number of participants trained as per the monitoring indicators set, key challenges encountered, and recommendations for follow-up and supportive supervision
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor in line with the role.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience, at the national and/or international level, in public health programme support; experience with EPI work is an asset, as is experience working in the MoPH, UN or other international development organization;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong drafting, formulation, and reporting abilities;
  • Accuracy and professionalism in document preparation, data entry, and report editing;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external counterparts; familiarity with participatory and results-based planning approaches is an asset;
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to work productively in a multicultural team of international and national staff
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (especially Excel, Word and PPT);
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sound security awareness.
  • Have affinity with or interest in public health, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the mission and work of the United Nations System.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Health sciences.
