Overview
The Fundraising Officer (Head of Digital Marketing - Performance & Growth) is responsible for developing the overall digital fundraising strategy and targets, leading campaign implementation, coordinating digital infrastructure improvements, and managing optimization and reporting to promote donor acquisition and retention for UNICEF Philippines.
Tasks Summary
- Develop the overall digital fundraising strategy and workplan with annual targets.
- Perform day-to-day implementation of digital acquisition and retention activities.
- Maintain and improve UNICEF’s donation infrastructure and e-Commerce ecosystem.
- Provide strategic guidance and support for the wider PFP and Communications teams.
- Monitor and evaluate digital fundraising activities.
- Supervise and manage digital support staff.
- Act as focal point for the digital aspects of emergency fundraising.
- Oversee regular security assessment of donation sites and monitor PCI-DSS compliance.
- Keep up to date with PFP global plans, strategies and guidelines and best practices.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing, digital performance marketing, or related fields.
- Experience using data-driven and AI-enabled tools or automation.
- Experience working with analytics platforms, dashboards, or performance measurement frameworks.
- Direct experience with profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, including setting and meeting ambitious income targets.
- Direct responsibility for managing an annual digital paid media advertising budget of $1 million+ and overseeing the agency, department, or team responsible for its performance.
- Proven experience establishing and scaling in-house digital teams or managing an agency department/team.
- Experience in digital marketing may include agency-side roles (advertising account management, strategic planning, data analytics, social media management) or client-side roles (brand and product management, marketing, sales, customer loyalty).
- Proven success in launching and optimizing campaigns and delivering successful digital marketing programs with demonstrated financial results.
- Proven project management skills.
- Experience in digital marketing and sales or private sector fundraising areas such as acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty and performance-driven multi-channel campaign management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of digital audience research, segmentation, and trends is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- A university degree in Marketing, Digital Media & Advertising, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Other additional training and certification in digital channels is an asset.
