Consultant – Graphic Designer

Overview

The Consultant - Graphic Designer will develop visual assets to complete IOM brand collaterals, working on creative and eye-catching designs that align with the IOM brand style guide.

Tasks Summary

• Develop creative and eye-catching designs that align with the IOM brand style guide.
• Create visual materials, such as infographics, illustrations, banners, posters, simple infographics animations, and social media assets.
• Collaborate with the Media and Communications Unit to understand the objectives and messages of various campaigns.
• Produce campaign-specific visual materials that effectively communicate themes and key points.
• Utilize design elements and layouts to tell compelling stories through visual content.
• Refine designs to ensure they meet the communication goals and resonate with the target audience.
• Maintain consistency in visual branding across all materials.
• Collaborate closely with the Brand and Graphic Design Manager, to gather project requirements and understand the context of each assignment.
• Provide timely delivery of design projects to meet campaign schedules and communication deadlines.

Experience Requirements

• Experience working with institutional brand guidelines;
• Experience in working on all aspects of branding: typography, color palettes, photography, and illustration.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree in graphic design, graphic arts, or a related field, or a college diploma supplemented with additional one to two years of experience.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Excellent knowledge of English and French required, both written and spoken.

Languages Preferred: • Working knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.

Contract Duration: Up to 11 months
