Overview

Leads microfinance operations in an assigned area/region, providing guidance and technical support while overseeing the implementation of departmental strategies to achieve financial and operational objectives.

Tasks Summary

• Participates in the development of operational plans at the Field level.
• Leads microfinance operations, providing guidance and technical support.
• Oversees implementation of departmental strategies, setting targets and monitoring progress.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Contributes to the development of field operational procedures and drafts manuals.
• Prepares monthly, periodic, and ad-hoc reports on credit operations.
• Works closely with branch managers to identify business opportunities and new markets.
• Analyses performance metrics and KPIs for each branch.
• Develops productivity ratios and performance targets for credit products.
• Assists in conducting client and business impact assessments.
• Develops staff capacity building plans and provides training.
• Mentors and provides technical support to staff.
• Ensures effective customer service across all branches.
• Resolves escalated customer issues and promotes customer retention.
• Monitors the collection of bad debts and analyses trends.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience Requirements

• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in management, administration and/or development of credit operations or financial administration of loan programmes.
• Experience in staff development and training.

Qualification Requirements

• Advanced university degree in economics, business, finance, development studies or other related discipline.

Contract Duration: Fixed Term Appointment for 1 year; including 1 year probation period, with the possibility of further extension

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Monthly Salary JD 1,170.300 fils. Special Occupational Allowance (47%) of basic salary.
