Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR transactional services for UNICEF staff, focusing on benefits and entitlements. The position aims to provide quality client service and identify opportunities for business process improvement.

Tasks Summary
  • Ensure equity, transparency, and consistency in the interpretation, determination, and administration of conditions of service, terms of employment, benefits, and allowances.
  • Advise management and staff on HR policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve SAP transactions and related personnel actions.
  • Monitor HR related transactions, entitlements, and benefits.
  • Deliver training and coaching related to HR entitlements, benefits, and business processes.
  • Contribute to projects, budget preparation, and review processes.
  • Streamline and innovate processes within the HR Administration Section.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in human resources is required.
  • A completed university degree from an accredited institution will be counted towards the minimum work experience requirement.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience is required for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • A relevant master’s degree may replace additional two (2) years.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in working in one of the enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft).
  • Hands-on, practical experience in analyzing and approving transactions with an understanding of benefits and entitlements in human resources administration or services.
Qualification Requirements

• Completion of secondary education (high school diploma) is a minimum requirement.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of an additional UN Language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is considered an asset.

Contract Duration: six-months period
