Overview

The Resource Manager (Workforce) will be responsible for HR, workforce planning, and staff administration duties within the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC). The role supports managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities and manages on-boarding and off-boarding processes.

Tasks Summary
  • Work in close coordination with the Chief NDWC, Head RPM Office and CPO, responsible for HR, workforce planning and all staff administration related duties of the RPM Office.
  • Workforce planning: gather, maintain and analyse workforce capability data.
  • Resourcing: support managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities.
  • Managing, through direct liaison with Chief People Office (CPO), of all administrative duties pertaining to personal-in-confidence work, and in particular assistance to the Chief NDWC in the preparation and maintenance of personnel records.
  • Manage and support seamless on-boarding and off-boarding of workforce, including appropriate organisation and coordination of events involving staff, such as newcomers’ introductory calls.
  • Development and improvement of staff management information portal; including dissemination of all staff management support information, communication and publications.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 years post-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in HR or business management and administration.
  • Exceptionally, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in RPMO / workforce management without a university degree.
  • Demonstrable HR generalist background in areas such as HR policy, performance, recruitment and workforce planning.
  • Demonstrable workforce related professional background or experience, with experience of providing higher level advice to a wider management team and workforce, ensuring key processes and workflows are correctly adhered too - preferably in a Staff Management field.
  • Experience of facilitating work space management and on-boarding activities within a pressured environment.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a HR or business management and administration related discipline.
  • NATO Resource Management Education Programme (NSO) training (desirable).
