Education Offcier

Overview

Support the planning, implementation, and coordination of UNICEF's Education Programme to enhance learning outcomes and skills development for children and adolescents.

Tasks Summary

• Support communication and documentation of programme progress and impact for reporting, fundraising, and advocacy.
• Contribute to improving government and UNICEF's capacity in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), knowledge generation, and management, including assistance with research, studies, and evaluations.
• Provide assistance to enhance UNICEF's capacity to contribute to improved coordination and effectiveness of the Education Sector Working Group (ESWG) mechanisms.
• Contribute to other programme-related tasks, including inputs to annual reviews, work plans, funding proposals, donor visits, and annual reports.

Experience Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.
• Experience working with the government in Lao PDR or other developing country context(s) is an asset.
• Project management experience is an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Social Science, International Development, and other related areas.
