Overview

To process and analyze data using statistical tools and methodologies to support strategic insights and service delivery to beneficiaries.

Tasks Summary

• Collect and clean data from primary or secondary sources.
• Develop reports, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Ensure compliance with WFP’s data governance, privacy, and security policies.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvements to data quality and system performance.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret data using standard data tools and statistical methods.
• Contribute to the development and utilization of data quality monitoring tools.
• Monitor data analytics performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of training and capacity development initiatives.
• Provide technical advice on data policies, processes, and systems.
• Engage in continuous learning on data analysis tools and best practices.
• Guide staff with analysis and queries.
• Perform assigned tasks.

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years of overall experience, including 3 years of Professional Experience (managerial or supervisory) in areas related to Information Technology, Foundational Concepts in Data Manipulation and Data Analysis such as Data Structures, Statistical Methods. Within these 3 years of professional experience, a minimum of 1 year of experience must be after postgraduation.

Qualification Requirements

Completion of Advanced University Degree (Master’s or equivalent). Education in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Management or any relevant field is preferable.

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.
