Overview
To process and analyze data using statistical tools and methodologies to support the generation of insights and enable the delivery of services to beneficiaries.
Tasks Summary
- Collect and clean data from primary or secondary sources.
- Develop reports, dashboards or other data visualization tools.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Ensure compliance with WFP’s data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- Guide end users on data policies, processes, and systems.
- Provide feedback to system sponsors for continuous improvements.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret data using standard data tools, statistical methods or basic machine learning techniques.
- Contribute to the development and utilization of data quality monitoring tools.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of training and capacity development initiatives.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on tools and best practices.
- Perform deployments of data software and/or license acquisition.
- Follow set emergency response processes and procedures.
- Perform task as assigned.
Experience Requirements
At least 6 years of relevant experience in areas related to Data , Information Technology or in any related field.
Qualification Requirements
Completion of University Degree (bachelor's or equivalent) is required. Education in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Management or any relevant field is preferable.
