Assists in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation work, monitors status of proposals, and compiles, summarizes, and presents programme data.

- Monitors status of programme/project proposals and receipt of relevant documentation.
- Compiles, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on specific programmes.
- Reviews project documents for completeness and compliance.
- Reviews budget revisions and verifies fund availability.
- Serves as focal point for administrative coordination of programme/project implementation activities.
- Compiles, summarizes and enters data on project delivery.
- Drafts related status reports.
- Participates in the preparation and support of the biennial Debt Management Conference and other workshops/meetings.
- Drafts correspondence and prepares and updates periodic reports.
- Assists in the preparation of presentation materials.
- Provides general office assistance.
- Responds to complex information requests and inquiries.
- Reviews, logs and routes incoming correspondence.
- Sets up and maintains files/records.
- Organizes meetings, workshops.
- Handles routine administrative tasks.
- Provides guidance/training to new/junior staff.
- Assists with the collection and analysis of data.
- Assists with visualizations and updating information material.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related area is required. The minimum is reduced to 3 years for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience working in the UN system is desirable. At least 3 years of experience using the ERP system such as UMOJA is desirable. At least 3 years of experience using the online recruitment and talent management system such as INSPIRA is desirable.
