Intern - Information Management Systems

Overview

This internship is located in Geneva and supports the work of the CEB secretariat by assisting with information management systems and technology tasks.

Tasks Summary

• Maintaining various databases (Duty Stations and Donors).
• Assisting colleagues in the design of digital surveys and extraction of results for analysis.
• Providing support to SharePoint users.
• Supporting various IT applications; developing and maintaining internal tools.
• Assisting with data visualization projects.
• Performing other related duties as required.

Experience Requirements

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). An educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
