Overview

The Anti-Corruption Analyst will provide technical support to minimize risks associated with sub-project implementation, including anti-corruption and other relevant activities within UERP/URP.

Tasks Summary
  • Provide consultative support to beneficiaries and local stakeholders in developing and implementing anti-corruption activities.
  • Contribute to organizing and implementing activities to mitigate and proactively manage risks of cooperation with sub-project contractors.
  • Promote conflict sensitivity, human rights, and gender equality approaches in recovery project implementation.
  • Guide and support the preparation of information materials, presentations, and reports.
  • Provide development and improvement of tools that will simplify and automate the processes of anti-corruption check of objects.
  • Contribute to the corruption risk review of tenders and enhancement of the procurement systems.
  • Monitor and assess corruption, fraud, money laundering, and other related risks during project implementation stages.
  • Analyze data from open sources to identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Design and deliver capacity-building activities, including training sessions, seminars, and workshops.
  • Facilitate experience-sharing events, public discussions, and networking activities.
  • Implement best practices and innovations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to developing semi-annual and monthly progress reports.
  • Identify and summarize best practices and success stories in anti-corruption efforts and risk assessment.
  • Synthesize lessons learned and provide recommendations for improvements to stakeholders.
  • Closely work with respective governmental organizations to ensure component activities are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure coordination/partnership with relevant governmental, non-governmental and international organizations.
  • Prepare sections of the project reports, including progress and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc technical reports.
  • Organize public events to present results of sub-project implementation.
  • Develop knowledge products, such as booklets, leaflets, infographics, and presentations.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of best practices and capacity-building approaches.
  • Support the Project Manager/Team Leader in executing related activities.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by UNDP management or the Key Risk Assessment Expert.
Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with two (2) years experience or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Law, Finance, Economics, Public Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level in working with anti-corruption issues or risk assessment issues in the implementation of recovery projects.
Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Law, Finance, Economics, Public Management, Business Administration, or other related fields is required.
  • OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of Master’s degree.

Languages Required: Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
