Overview
The Project Analyst - Monitoring and Evaluation facilitates the effective implementation of the KVPVP project by leading monitoring, evaluation, learning, and results-reporting activities. The role ensures rigorous data verification and supports project communication and donor visibility.
Tasks Summary
- Lead project reporting, including quarterly, biannual, and annual reports, ensuring KOICA-related reports are provided in both English and Korean.
- Lead the project M&E and provide technical oversight to provincial M&E focal points, ensuring systematic data collection and verification.
- Support the development of field-based data collection tools and evidence-based data collection methods.
- Coordinate with team members to enhance data management and maintain oversight of project delivery rates.
- Support and coordinate MEL activities conducted by the KOICA.
- Conduct field visits to verify the quality and quantity of activities.
- Coordinate data collection to support project final evaluation.
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing project risk management and ensuring compliance with Social and Environmental Standards reporting requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to manage the project Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).
- Contribute to the development of Joint Project Coordinating Committee (JPCC) meeting materials and impact presentations.
- Contribute to project visibility by supplying accurate statistics, technical data, and identifying potential success stories.
Experience Requirements
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in M&E and project reporting in mine action, climate resilience, or social inclusion.
- Desired skills include experience in advanced M&E frameworks and field-level data verification, mine-action projects and monitoring Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), producing high-quality project reports and donor visibility materials in both English and Korean, providing technical oversight for data management and meeting KOICA technical and visibility requirements, understanding of democratic governance issues, and at least two years of proven experience working in the UN System and/or with development partners on ODA-funded projects.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Political Science, International Relations, Social Science, Project Management or related field is required. Or, a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
