The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) seeks a Public Information Intern to support diverse communications initiatives promoting UNDSS activities and security work. The role aims to bring the Department's work to life through compelling content creation and digital presence management.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Languages Required: fluency in English (both oral and written) is required
Languages Preferred: any fluency in any other language is desirable
Contract Duration: Six months.
Work Modality: in person and full-time (35 hours or more). The internship can be adapted to accommodate hybrid arrangements, on an exceptional basis.
Remuneration: The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
