Overview
This role supports the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies and initiatives within SAMCO, focusing on knowledge capture, sharing, and data analysis to enhance project delivery and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of knowledge management strategy.
- Facilitate the capture and documentation of knowledge assets.
- Support the management and maintenance of knowledge sharing platforms.
- Gather, clean, and analyze data related to operations and projects.
- Support the management and maintenance of internal and external communications channels.
Required Experience
- Relevant experience in knowledge management, information management or related areas.
- Experience working in an international organization or development sector is desired.
- Experience with SharePoint or other knowledge sharing platforms is desired.
- Experience of working in multicultural environments or UN system organizations in a developing country is desired.
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Management, Knowledge Management, Business Administration or related fields with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields with 0 years of relevant experience is required.
- A globally or nationally recognized professional certificate in Knowledge Management is desired.
