Overview
The Web Solutions & Digital Governance Assistant performs procedural and operative tasks related to UNICEF’s systems, maintaining and enhancing front-end interfaces and user experiences for unicef.org.ec and supporting Comms and PFP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining, testing and enhancing the front-end interfaces and user experiences (UX/UI) for unicef.org.ec and its ecosystem of websites.
- Providing service support and troubleshooting of Comms and PFP systems.
- Working with colleagues on handling and resolving routine and minor specialized processes and delivery of web services, CMS content and PCI processes.
- Website and Microsite Management.
- External Vendor Coordination.
- Digital Information Repositories.
- U-Report Platform Management.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years of progressively practical work experience in information technology and web development, requiring systematic methods of troubleshooting and problem solving is required.
- Practical experience in providing technical and business Customer Support and Services is required.
- Practical experience and working knowledge of various computer platforms, networks and applications is required.
Qualifications
• Completion of Secondary education is required, supplemented with formal training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, web development.
