Overview

Provide technical support and assist in the development and implementation of M&E/APP/CFM activities and processes. Prepare reports and data analysis, ensure accurate data recording, and liaise with internal and external counterparts for effective project monitoring and delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assist in the development and implementation of M&E/APP/CFM activities and processes.
  • Prepare a range of reports and data analysis.
  • Ensure accurate, timely recording of data.
  • Liaise with internal counterparts to support collaboration and monitoring.
  • Coordinate and communicate with local partners, agencies, NGOs and government institutions.
  • Support the capacity building of WFP staff, cooperating partners and national government.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolution of operational queries and problems.
  • Oversee and/or review the work of other support staff.
  • Coordinate the market price data collection and ensure data quality.
  • Supervise the Monitoring team and ensure regular trainings.
  • Ensure a balanced monitoring coverage.
  • Conduct regular field visits, key informant interviews and focus group discussions.
  • Verify the quality of the data collected by Monitors.
  • Support the testing and improvement of monitoring tools.
  • Ensure COMET Roles and Responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • Support WFP CO by ensuring timely data entry and coordinating reconciliation efforts.
  • Support Beneficiary Verification exercises.
  • Lead the verification process of the re-targeting exercise.
  • Act as focal point for the AAP team.
  • Ensure weekly reports received from the Beneficiary Feedback Mechanism helpline and helpdesks are reviewed.
  • Follow-up with CPs to ensure weekly and monthly helpdesk reports are shared.
  • Synthesize the BFM findings and link them to monitoring observations.
  • Engage with CO functional teams and FOs to ensure knowledge base is updated.
  • Support the preparation of FLAs for M&E related sections.
Required Experience

At least six (6) years of experience in roles that cover Monitoring and Evaluation/programme implementation, and other related functions.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.
