Overview

The People and Culture Officer provides HR services and manages assigned HR areas, acting as a first-level business partner to staff and supporting the People and Culture Manager. The role also involves acting as Officer In Charge for People and Culture during the Manager's absence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the second level HR Business Partner in advising clients on HR-related needs and developing plans of action.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on HR processes and policies.
  • Advise clients on the resolution of human resources issues.
  • Promote organizational goals and targets for gender equity and cultural diversity.
  • Liaise with HQ Divisions, regional and country offices to support corporate HR strategy formulation and global implementation.
  • Provide feedback and make recommendations on HR systems, policies and processes.
  • Research, benchmark, and implement best practices in HR management.
  • Manage assigned HR area (entitlements, recruitment, job classification, career development, performance management, data analytics, learning & development etc.).
  • Analyze and synthesize issues and problems in assigned HR casework.
  • Support the design and delivery of learning plans for staff.
  • Research efficient and cost-effective learning products.
  • Participate as a resource person in capacity building initiatives.
  • Provide orientation briefing to new staff.
  • Collect, interpret and analyze HR data to inform decision making.
  • Support the development and implementation of data collection systems.
  • Coordinate with country offices and partners in HR information management.
  • Support, train and coach junior colleagues.
Required Experience

Two years of professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required. Additional years of well rounded experience in multiple areas of HR are highly desirable.

Qualifications

A University Degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or another related field is required.
