Overview
The Health Field Officer will be responsible for implementing, running, and monitoring health programmes in a specific geographic area or field activities, contributing to the planning and coordination of health activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Burns Centre.
- Monitor and support the clinical care provided to burn patients.
- Plan and manage monthly medical donations and supplies.
- Facilitate training and capacity building for clinical staff.
- Ensure communication and liaison with authorities, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in assessments, reporting, and monitoring activities.
- Support other health-related activities and contribute to emergency response.
Required Experience
- Typically, 3 to 5 years of work experience.
- 2 years of clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of humanitarian experience.
- Excellent connections with local health authorities and/or groups of interest for the ICRC is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the assigned geographic area is an asset.
Qualifications
- Degree in medicine or nursing.
- License/certificate to practice in Ukraine.
- Qualification in public health or health management is an asset.
