Overview

The Health Field Officer will be responsible for implementing, running, and monitoring health programmes in a specific geographic area or field activities, contributing to the planning and coordination of health activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Burns Centre.
  • Monitor and support the clinical care provided to burn patients.
  • Plan and manage monthly medical donations and supplies.
  • Facilitate training and capacity building for clinical staff.
  • Ensure communication and liaison with authorities, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in assessments, reporting, and monitoring activities.
  • Support other health-related activities and contribute to emergency response.
Required Experience
  • Typically, 3 to 5 years of work experience.
  • 2 years of clinical experience.
  • At least 2 years of humanitarian experience.
  • Excellent connections with local health authorities and/or groups of interest for the ICRC is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of the assigned geographic area is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Degree in medicine or nursing.
  • License/certificate to practice in Ukraine.
  • Qualification in public health or health management is an asset.

Remuneration
