Overview
International consultant to design, prepare, implement, and follow up on B2B matchmaking activities between Tunisian textile and clothing manufacturers and UK buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an Inception Note outlining methodology, workplan, company selection criteria, buyer targeting, and outreach strategy.
- Assess Tunisian textile and clothing manufacturers and submit a shortlist.
- Map and conduct outreach to UK buyers, securing a confirmed schedule of B2B meetings.
- Organize and coordinate a minimum of 50 qualified B2B meetings.
- Submit a Final Report detailing meetings, business leads, feedback, and recommendations.
Required Experience
- At least 7 years in textiles and clothing, focusing on international sourcing, production, and buyer-supplier relations.
- Proven track record of organizing B2B events, including selecting manufacturers, pitching to buyers, and securing long-term commercial deals.
- Deep understanding of international buyer needs regarding quality, compliance, certifications, and lead times.
- Hands-on consulting experience working directly with factories to assess export readiness and production capacity.
- Direct access to professional buyer networks in the UK and familiarity with global sourcing channels.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in International Trade, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.
