Overview
The Child Protection Associate, Youth & PROSPECTS will support child protection and youth engagement activities in Kassala, Sudan, contributing to the monitoring of PROSPECTS initiatives and the documentation of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in child protection and youth engagement activities and contributes to strengthening meaningful youth participation in PROSPECTS-related initiatives.
- Supports the follow up of PROSPECTS activities by gathering information from partners, participating in field monitoring visits, contributing to documenting progress, challenges, and implementation updates, preparing short contributions to donor reporting.
- Assists in collecting qualitative and quantitative data from implementing partners, children, youth, and community members.
- Contributes to the development of human-interest stories, case studies, success stories, lessons learned, and good practice notes.
- Contributes to meetings, workshops, and learning sessions by sharing reflections and observations.
- Engages in on the job learning opportunities related to programming, monitoring, documentation, communication, and UNICEF procedures.
Required Experience
- 1 month relevant experience
- Proficient digital skills to deliver the assignment, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, among others), email, and internet.
