Overview

Internship opportunity within the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean to contribute to territorial development policy and communication strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Draft informational notes based on seminars, talks, conferences, and published documents.
  • Assist in the creation of flyers for event announcements.
  • Suggest brief communications for social media.
  • Contribute critically to the implementation of the communication strategy for the ECLAC Productive Cooridnation Initiatives Platform.
Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent).
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
Other Details
Languages Required
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
Contract Duration
2 to 6 months

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
