Overview
This internship position is located in the Global Emerging Markets Team within the Office of Investment Management of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund. The intern will support the team in analyzing portfolio performance and assisting with project management related to the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards to monitor and analyse portfolio performance
- Develop data-based tools to monitor team’s performance
- Help enhance workflow and tools related to assessment of brokers
- Assist team head in managing projects and workflows related to investment process, event planning, management and monitoring of team’s resources
- Work on specific investment research projects with members of the team
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of standard MS Office software applications, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Knowledgeable in the use of AI tools
