Overview

Oversee and optimize fleet operations supporting humanitarian activities, ensuring transport resources are safe, compliant, efficient, and ready to support field operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient management of the delegation’s fleet (less than 70 assets).
  • Dispatch vehicles in a safe and economical manner.
  • Optimize resource allocation across operational sites.
  • Supervise vehicle documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee fuel management, spare-parts systems, and technical standards.
  • Provide technical guidance on outsourced transport services.
  • Supervise a team of drivers, strengthening technical capacity.
  • Plan lifecycle management of vehicles and assets.
  • Contribute to fleet budgeting and financial oversight.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics project management or a similar transport/logistics role.
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational performance (cost reduction, process improvements, innovation).
  • Experience working in international or multicultural environments; experience abroad is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of trucking, freight forwarding, or vehicle dispatching is beneficial.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field.
  • Additional certifications in fleet management, logistics, or supply chain is an asset.
  • Valid Professional driver's license.
