Overview

This internship supports learning and development activities within the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF). The role assists with documentation, information requests, promotion of learning resources, and tracking of learning activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Documenting external training records and evaluation forms.
  • Responding to inquiries and information requests regarding staff learning opportunities.
  • Promoting learning resource information on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams channels, and other platforms.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on learning activities through established data collection methods.
  • Assisting in the organization of meetings, webinars, and in-house learning initiatives.
  • Monitoring the utilization of the training budget against the approved budget.
Required Experience

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Teams. Ability to design surveys and polls is desirable.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Remuneration
The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
