Overview
The Reporting and Fundraising Officer will support the quality and monitoring of donor reports and assist in partnership management and resource mobilization to ensure adequate resources are mobilized for the UNICEF cooperation program in Niger.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, review, and timely submission of donor reports, ensuring content quality, financial and narrative data consistency, and donor-specific requirements.
- Ensure submitted reports are recorded in the internal system with necessary approvals.
- Contribute to strengthening program colleagues' capacity in quality report writing.
- Monitor grant agreements and funding deadlines in coordination with program sections, reporting grant end dates to optimize fund utilization.
- Contribute to preparing strategic notes and analyses for resource mobilization efforts, including partnership opportunities and risks.
- Support the preparation of briefings and positioning documents for the Representative and Deputy Representative before partner meetings.
- Participate in the documentary management of partnerships (registration, archiving, correspondence tracking, update of tracking files).
- Stay informed about international aid trends and contribute to strategic monitoring of potential opportunities.
- Develop meeting minutes related to Partnerships.
- Support the consolidation of funding proposals, concept notes, and other documents, ensuring quality before submission.
- Support the review and proofreading of funding agreements, ensuring compliance with UNICEF guidelines.
- Contribute to improving internal capacities of program sections on quality proposal writing.
- Support coordination between program and communication sections to ensure donor visibility requirements are met.
- Participate in producing communication materials for partner recognition (logos, stories, photos, visibility reports) and sharing them with donors.
Required Experience
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience is required in one or more of the following areas: resource mobilization, partnership management, program management, report writing, donor relations, communication, or any other related field.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Cooperation, Communication, Project Management, Economics, Public Administration, or any other relevant field related to resource mobilization, partnerships, or program management.
