Overview

The Income and Funding Partner Analyst will support UNEP’s Corporate Services Division in reporting on the organization's income to management and Member States.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operationalization of the Funding Intelligence Portal.
  • Monitor and analyse the compliance and financial implementation of corporate level funding agreements.
  • Handle financial transactions related to Member States’s contributions.
  • Prepare funding profiles on Member States and analysis of their funding patterns and priorities.
  • Support the financial analysis of the organisation’s income.
  • Support resource mobilization efforts of regional offices.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial information for the unit’s intranet website and UNEP’s website.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience

Relevant experience 3 years. Experience in financial analysis and reporting is required. Experience in data analysis, data visualisation and storytelling, use of data analytics tools like PowerBI, resource mobilization is desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or any other related field of study. Additional training or qualification; CFA, CPA, IPFM or Data Science is highly desirable.

Remuneration
A UN Volunteer receives a Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) per month. The VLA can be computed by applying the Post-Adjustment Multiplier (PAM) to the VLA base rate of US$1,602. In non-family duty stations that belong to hardship categories D or E, as classified by the ICSC, international UN Volunteers receive a Well-Being Differential (WBD) on a monthly basis. Furthermore, UN Volunteers are provided a settling-in-grant (SIG) at the start of the assignment and also in the event of a permanent reassignment to another duty station. UNV provides life, health, permanent disability insurances as well as assignment travel, annual leave, full integration in the UN security framework (including residential security reimbursements). UN Volunteers are paid Daily Subsistence Allowance at the UN rate for official travels, flight tickets for the final repatriation travel (if applicable). A resettlement allowance is paid for satisfactory service at the end of the assignment.
