Overview
The Programme Management Officer, Administration, P3 role supports the Air Transport Service in the Department of Operational Support by coordinating and orchestrating UAS-related initiatives and managing extra-budgetary funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a governance chart for programme achievements, stakeholder engagement, and budget utilization.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of UAS and airborne ISR programmes/projects.
- Perform consulting assignments, plan workshops, and assist in developing action plans.
- Research, analyze, and present information from diverse sources.
- Assist in policy development, including issue and trend analysis.
- Undertake survey initiatives, design data collection tools, and analyze responses.
- Prepare written outputs such as background papers, reports, and studies.
- Provide substantive support to meetings, conferences, and outreach activities.
- Conduct training workshops and make presentations.
- Participate in or lead field missions and draft mission summaries.
- Coordinate planning and management of extra-budgetary funds and prepare related documents.
- Act as a focal point for orchestration and coordination of UAS-related initiatives.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required.
- Experience in collaborating with partners on operational support issues in or with an international organization is required.
- Experience in drafting, implementing, and monitoring complex projects and reporting to project stakeholder is required.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or similar system, and/or working with integrated planning, monitoring and reporting (IPMR) solution is required.
- Experience with self-service analytics and data visualization applications (MS Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or similar), or business intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, etc.) is desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
