Overview

The Head of Programme Kenya is responsible for overall programme development and strategic vision in the country, promoting learning and a cost-conscious culture, and ensuring effective communication.


Key Responsibilities
  • Line management for Core Competence Specialists
  • Member of the Country Management Group (CMG)
  • Provide programme input to Country Strategy and Plan of Action
  • Development of Core Competency strategies aligned to regional and global priorities
  • Development of holistic and needs-based programmes, including cash-based and market-based programmes
  • Identify funding opportunities, develop funding strategies and forecasts
  • Ensure strategic programme development in line with region and global initiatives
  • Oversee advances in Innovation, Protection, Markets and Digital programming
  • Contribute to expanding the use of Cash Based Programmes and technology
  • Contribute to strengthening accountability to beneficiaries through M&E systems and feedback mechanisms
  • Facilitate initiatives for integrated programme analysis and response analysis
  • Oversee Project Cycle Management (PCM)
Required Experience

Highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Head of Programmes Kenya.
