Overview
The Head of Programme Kenya is responsible for overall programme development and strategic vision in the country, promoting learning and a cost-conscious culture, and ensuring effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Line management for Core Competence Specialists
- Member of the Country Management Group (CMG)
- Provide programme input to Country Strategy and Plan of Action
- Development of Core Competency strategies aligned to regional and global priorities
- Development of holistic and needs-based programmes, including cash-based and market-based programmes
- Identify funding opportunities, develop funding strategies and forecasts
- Ensure strategic programme development in line with region and global initiatives
- Oversee advances in Innovation, Protection, Markets and Digital programming
- Contribute to expanding the use of Cash Based Programmes and technology
- Contribute to strengthening accountability to beneficiaries through M&E systems and feedback mechanisms
- Facilitate initiatives for integrated programme analysis and response analysis
- Oversee Project Cycle Management (PCM)
Required Experience
Highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Head of Programmes Kenya.
