Overview
The consultancy will provide specialised guidance to embedding the FRAME-ECO framework across projects in this portfolio to ensure coherence, integration, and strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical inputs and analysis advancing UNEP’s SDS work.
- Provide specialised technical contributions to UNEP’s disaster risk reduction-related work on wildfires.
- Provide thematic input on integrating FRAME-ECO across the transboundary hazards portfolio.
Required Experience
- 2 years of qualifying experience supporting environmental, development, or humanitarian projects is required.
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams, including local and expatriate technical experts is required.
- Prior work experience with UN agencies, international organizations, or development partners is an asset.
- Prior work experience on transboundary hazards is desirable.
Qualifications
- A master's degree in international development, management, social sciences or equivalent academic qualifications is required.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
