Overview

The International Analyst in Sustainable Rural Development will support project management, coordination, and implementation, focusing on fostering relationships with Korean institutions to ensure project sustainability and scale results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support management of collaboration with Korean international cooperation institutions.
  • Manage new alliances for project sustainability.
  • Advise on structuring sustainability strategies to scale project results.
  • Provide technical input to project activities.
  • Support structuring new projects.
  • Draft technical documents and communication materials.
  • Manage technical cooperation with Korean institutions on cross-cutting approaches.
  • Strengthen technical assistance with digital and technological solutions.
  • Identify export market opportunities and manage potential international buyers.
  • Contribute to management and analysis of project information.
  • Participate in trainings and organize informational sessions.
  • Support capacity-building activities.
  • Support dissemination of data and lessons learned.
  • Make contributions to knowledge networks.
  • Perform other related activities.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years (with master's degree) or 4 years (with Professional Degree) of relevant experience in Rural Development, International cooperation or Sustainable development is required.
  • Proven experience in management, capacity building and development.
  • Experience working in Rural Development, Agriculture or related programs in developing countries, preferably in Latin America and with Korean government funding.
Qualifications
  • Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Rural Development, International Cooperation or Sustainable development or a related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree (bachelor´s degree) in International Cooperation, Sustainable Development, Rural Development, Economics, Engineering or a related field, in combination with additional 2 years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of master´s degree.

Fluency in BOTH Korean and Spanish is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of English is an advantage.
