Overview
Support the RCO's communications strategy and the coordination and implementation of key RCO activities. Contribute to the implementation of the RCO’s engagement and outreach strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the RCO’s communications strategy, including drafting and adapting content for institutional digital platforms.
- Support the coordination and implementation of key RCO activities, including assisting in the organization of meetings, workshops, and events.
- Support preparation of presentations, speeches, minutes, briefs, and other communication and information materials.
- Support the maintenance and updating of communications and partnerships databases and key information resources, as well as other administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute to the implementation of the RCO’s engagement and outreach strategy by conducting stakeholder mapping and identifying potential collaboration opportunities with key partners from government, civil society, international organizations, academia, private sector and youth networks.
- Support collection and analysis of partnerships and finance for development data.
- Assist in coordination of relevant interagency groups, including support to follow up of agreements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to other relevant activities of the RCO.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in International Relations, Communications, Political Science or a related field. Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent).
- be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
