Overview
The internship will support the development of legal and political analysis, including tracking legislative initiatives and legal gazettes, and contribute to the coordination of activities related to the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of legal and political analysis, including tracking legislative initiatives, legal gazette, among others.
- Support the development of political analysis and preparation of relevant knowledge and policy briefs.
- Support coordination of activities related to the preparation of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.
- Assist coordination of relevant interagency groups, including support to follow up of agreements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to other relevant activities of the RCO.
- Timely and quality contributions to political and legal analysis and tracking.
- Inputs to information and knowledge products (tracking tools, presentations, analyses, briefs).
- Support to the organization and documentation of meetings, events, and coordination processes.
- Updated and maintained information systems and resources.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Law, International Relations, Political Science or a related field.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent).
- be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
