Overview
This internship supports the Content and Channels team in developing UNDRR’s knowledge platform, focusing on digital analytics, user journey research, and AI tooling for editorial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monitoring and reporting of web analytics (Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio) across UNDRR’s digital portfolio.
- Contribute to user journey and user experience research on PreventionWeb.
- Assist with the practical application of AI tooling to editorial workflows.
- Publish and curate disaster risk reduction content in PreventionWeb’s Drupal content management system.
- Identify content for social media promotion and propose optimisations based on web analytics.
- Assist in validating and maintaining source organisation profiles and contribute to editorial guidelines.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship is required.
- Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
