Internship opportunity within the Statistics Division, supporting the dissemination and analysis of data related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the dissemination of the SDG progress report through ESCAP's web page and with the application of AI tools.
- Support the visualization and user-friendly communication of the SDG data analysis for Asia and the Pacific.
- Support SDMU in enhancing the data management and application of statistical techniques for the analysis of SDG data.
- Perform other tasks as required.
- Explore the feasibility of AI applications for enhancing user experience with SDG report.
- Support the dissemination and communication of flagship publication on "Asia and the Pacific SDG Progress Report".
- Timely support to the team in improving the data management procedures.
- Draft research papers, blogs, and technical notes as needed.
- Participate in meetings of the section and division.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field is required. Applicant shall be computer literate in standard software applications.
