Overview

The Planning and Monitoring Specialist (Nutrition) will establish a Monitoring and Information Management (MIM) Hub to ensure integrated planning, monitoring, and data systems for the Project. The role aims to ensure quality evidence-based information is available for reporting and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a Monitoring and Information Management (MIM) Hub.
  • Ensure coordination of a decentralized monitoring system.
  • Ensure quality evidence-based and results-based information is available.
  • Coordinate monitoring systems with implementing partners.
  • Provide inputs to management reports based on monitoring and analysis.
  • Ensure adequate planning and quality of Programmatic Visits (PVs).
  • Strengthen end-user monitoring of supplies and services.
  • Provide quality assurance of data and results.
  • Support monitoring of Programme supply inputs.
  • Support UNICEF’s accountability to affected people.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Programme Management, programme development, programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation, emergency programming, emergency preparedness planning, and any other related fields. At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning.

Qualifications

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in social sciences, statistics, planning development, monitoring, project management.
