Overview

The Supply and Logistics Officer provides technical and operational support for managing supply chains in a country office, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of supplies and services. The role involves collaboration with programmes, partners, and governments to strengthen national supply chains and promote innovation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage and monitor end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacity.
  • Work closely with programme sections, donors and implementing partners to design, plan and deliver supply components of programmes.
  • Support partnerships, PCAs and HACT processes.
  • Provide technical advice and support to strengthen national supply chains and systems.
  • Contribute to capacity development, supply chain reform and sustainable solutions.
  • Promote innovation in supply chain management by supporting new products, services and approaches.
  • Contribute to market shaping and local market development.
Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly-related technical fields is required. Understanding of development and humanitarian work.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or related social science field.
