Overview

Provide administrative and programme support for project activities and liaison office functions. Assist with logistical coordination, financial monitoring, and communication material preparation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for project activities, including logistical coordination for events, payment processing, vendor contact, meeting scheduling, and drafting correspondence.
  • Support UNICRI staff by organizing meetings and travels, preparing travel-related documents, and following up on claims.
  • Prepare and issue consultancy, internship, and fellowship contracts.
  • Utilize SAP accounting system for financial tasks, including shopping carts, fund commitments, payments, grant and budget creation, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports and project-related documents, ensuring security of documentation.
  • Carry out general administrative and office support services, including processing correspondence and mail.
  • Support visibility and outreach activities, including preparing communication materials and coordinating media coverage.
  • Assist in preparing background documents, briefing notes, and presentation materials.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Assist with visualizations and updating information material.
  • Carry out other work-related duties as assigned.
Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience in administrative programme/project support, including several years of relevant experience in logistical assistance, is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to three (3) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Relevant work experience with SAP (Umoja) or other comparable ERP systems is desirable. Relevant work experience in the field of crime prevention or other justice-related projects is desirable. Previous work experience in the United Nations Common System or in similar large organisations is desirable. Experience in supporting liaison functions or high-level offices is desirable.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
