Overview

Provides administrative support within the Conduct and Discipline Service, assisting with human resources, budget, finance, and general administrative duties.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with human resource activities including recruitment, placement, promotion, relocation, performance appraisal, job classification reviews, and separation of staff.
  • Conducts vetting of personnel for prior misconduct and supports updates to the vetting process and system.
  • Monitors staffing tables and prepares statistical data.
  • Assists with the preparation and review of financial and human resource proposals and budget submissions.
  • Assists with budget performance submissions and reports.
  • Provides administrative support for organizing and maintaining calendars.
  • Drafts routine correspondence.
  • Performs other administrative duties such as official travel, monitoring accounts, payment to consultants, space planning, and office technology needs.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in administrative services, finance, accounting, audit, human resources or related area is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) years for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in recruitment at the United Nations or a similar international organization is required.
  • Experience in result-based budgeting is required.
  • Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
