Overview
The Project Associate (Assisted Returns) will supervise and coordinate pre-departure and post-arrival activities for returning migrants, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and supporting their reintegration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate pre-departure family tracing and assessment activities.
- Supervise Reintegration Assistants in the implementation of reception and reintegration activities.
- Ensure availability and compliance of Advance Booking Notifications (ABN) and validate forecasted budgets.
- Organize and chair preparatory meetings ahead of migrant arrivals.
- Supervise the organization of counselling sessions.
- Oversee administrative formalities and logistical assistance for arriving migrants.
- Supervise and validate case information and supporting documents entered into MiMOSA.
- Lead and supervise Post Arrival Needs Assessments (PANA).
- Identify training needs of G4 staff and organize coaching sessions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ACOR procedures.
Required Experience
- Experience in social work, case management, protection, or assistance to vulnerable populations.
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating multi-stakeholder processes.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, NGOs, or government institutions in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, International Studies, Law, Political or Social sciences, Development Studies, Education, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant experience; or,
- High School degree in the above fields with five years of relevant professional experience.
