Overview

The Project Associate (Assisted Returns) will supervise and coordinate pre-departure and post-arrival activities for returning migrants, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and supporting their reintegration.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate pre-departure family tracing and assessment activities.
  • Supervise Reintegration Assistants in the implementation of reception and reintegration activities.
  • Ensure availability and compliance of Advance Booking Notifications (ABN) and validate forecasted budgets.
  • Organize and chair preparatory meetings ahead of migrant arrivals.
  • Supervise the organization of counselling sessions.
  • Oversee administrative formalities and logistical assistance for arriving migrants.
  • Supervise and validate case information and supporting documents entered into MiMOSA.
  • Lead and supervise Post Arrival Needs Assessments (PANA).
  • Identify training needs of G4 staff and organize coaching sessions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ACOR procedures.
Required Experience
  • Experience in social work, case management, protection, or assistance to vulnerable populations.
  • Experience supervising staff and coordinating multi-stakeholder processes.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, NGOs, or government institutions in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, International Studies, Law, Political or Social sciences, Development Studies, Education, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant experience; or,
  • High School degree in the above fields with five years of relevant professional experience.
