Overview

The Reporting & Information Management Officer will support the Mission's efforts to strengthen data management, reporting, analysis, and knowledge management systems. The assignment will contribute to evidence-based decision-making, accountability, and improved programme performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of reporting and information management systems, tools, databases, and processes.
  • Coordinate and support the timely preparation, review, quality assurance, and submission of donor, institutional, strategic, and ad hoc reports.
  • Collect, consolidate, validate, analyze, and synthesize programme, operational, financial, and contextual data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, factsheets, briefing materials, presentations, situation updates, and other information products.
  • Support the establishment and implementation of data quality assurance procedures, standards, and protocols.
  • Support the effective use of IOM corporate systems and platforms, including PRIMA.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge management systems and repositories.
  • Collaborate closely with programme, resource mobilization, communications, monitoring and evaluation, and operational teams.
  • Support information management and reporting requirements during humanitarian emergencies, disease outbreaks, and other crisis response operations.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • 3 years required experience.
  • 2 years relevant experience in reporting, information management, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, or programme support.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and coordinating donor, institutional, and operational reports.
  • Experience in collecting, validating, analyzing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards, databases, information management systems, and other information products.
  • Experience using data analysis and visualization tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, database management, and online collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Interest in migration, humanitarian action, public health, sustainable development, and volunteerism.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Political or Social Sciences, International Relations / Development Studies, Business or Public Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Data Science / Statistics, Information Systems / Computer Science.
